Remembering

Always in our hearts....... Our lives have been forever changed because of you.

Ch. Shadowmeres Strike Warning

October 18, 2001- January 15, 2008

After a brief but valiant battle with a very aggressive abdominal cancer, Ike was set free to heed the Eternal Master's call. Ike was owner handled to his AKC Championship. He loved to show and was always first to jump into the bath tub and onto the grooming table in anticipation. When our grandson was ready to make his Pee Wee handling debut, we asked what dog he wanted to show and without hesitation he said, "Ike". They were a pair that day, with spectators asking "Who was really showing who?" Ike knew his way around the ring and he loved Henry so they were a perfect fit in the ring. He took a piece of our hearts with him but we know somewhere the children in Heaven are having the best of times with "that big, black dog." Rest well, you big teddy bear. We miss you.

    Stoneharts Bite The Bullet-Ammo

    May 26, 2001-October 26, 2007

Ammo chose us when we went to pickup his sister, Amber. We hadn't planned on taking home two puppies but he was insistent he was going home with us, following Marcus around the yard. Every time we looked for him he was always between Marcus' feet. We decided to "bite the bullet' and try raising 2 pups, a first for us at that time. We always believed in him and he seemed to understand that belief, never letting us down. Six and a half years went by far too quickly and we miss him and his soft licks so much, but we know that he is at peace and we will meet again.

      Dude

      July 4, 1994-January 16, 2006

Dude was our first Australian Shepherd. He was great at herding kids around the house. He always welcomed in our daughter's female friends with that cute "wiggle butt" but was not so welcoming to her male visitors. I guess he was trying to help out Dad by letting them know they better be good to his little girl. Dude is the beginning to our love for Aussies and he will always hold a very special place in our hearts.
